In the transport industry, the operations as well as the ownership of the infrastructure can be either private or public. Passenger transport, for example, can be public, where operators provide transport services and schedules for a large group of people, or it can be private, where individuals own and operate personal vehicles. Transport plays a vital role in encouraging economic growth in a country and globalisation in the whole world, so most governments place a priority in developing their infrastructure. This, in turn, leads to more people getting into business since they would have a larger market that can make use of the goods they manufacture or the services they offer.
