Packing the Essentials in your Gym Bag
So that you can have the best workout, make sure that you pack all the essential items that you are going to need that will ensure a productive time in the gym. Some of the items that your bag must contain are the following: shirts, socks, shorts or sweat pants, shoes, mp3 player with earphones, water bottle, gloves for weight lifting, shower shoes or flip flops, towel, sponge, shampoo and conditioner, soap, deodorant, hand sanitizer, and a blow dryer or curling iron.
It is important for you to bring your own towel even if the gym provides their own in order to prevent the possibility of contracting an infection. You should also remember to use a hand sanitizer or disinfecting alcohol after you have used a piece of gym equipment. Since you cannot be certain that there are no harmful germs found on the handlebars of a stationary bicycle, for instance, it is better to disinfect your hands immediately after your workout. Furthermore, never go into the gym's shower rooms without wearing protective footwear like flip flops.
Make sure that you clean your gym bag and air it out at least once a week so that it would not absorb any bad odours from damp clothes or wet towels you keep in it. You can go to a store and purchase a spray that can get rid of both odours and bacteria to be safe. So make sure that you have all the necessary items that you are going to need in the gym every time you pack your bag.
